This book is a miscellany of English spelling: rules, tests, collections of mistakes, and a number of articles about various aspects of the art.

I found it very interesting, and I can't wait to show the page on invented names for Aliens to at least one friend (though more with a view to matching each name to the author who originated it).

This morning, however, I was reminded of one spelling mistake that always bugs me, and which isn't even mentioned in this book: I was invited to a "Bar-be-que". I shall go, and I hope to enjoy the barbecue, and maybe release this book there...

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

The Adult Education Centre does courses in literacy and in English for foreigners. I had hoped to leave the book in the room that our course shares with the English for foreigners, but I gave up looking for a suitable opportunity and left it by the public phone downstairs.

I found the book to be a decent read. Good to pick up and flick through : )

Am releasing it soon!
