The first book in the Fionavar Tapestry. Guy Gavriel Kay helped assemble The Silmarillion, and the Fionavar Tapestry bears a strong Middle Earth influence. Kay already has a distinctive voice, but this is not nearly as polished as his later works, such as The Lions of Al-Rassan.

Got this in the mail 2 weeks ago! Thanks Illuminata! I'm reading this one currently and so far it's great! I love that it starts out in Toronto, cuz I know every street they talk about! I've never had that experience while reading a book.
