What a stroke of luck finding this! CountofMonte to the rescue! I had promised a copy of this book to Winterson in exchange for something else and parcelled it up ready to go to the Post Office, but didn't get a chance to go during the week. It's languishing on my desk at work and I'm not in till Monday so I am going to post this copy instead. Sorry for the delay Winterson, and thanks CofM!

Hello and welcome to Bookcrossing! Thank you for catching and making a journal entry for the book you’ve found! I hope you enjoy it and will consider having a look around the site and possibly joining. It's free and loads of fun, as you can track your released books on their travels, possibly all over the world! Please let me know that you've found the book, what you thought of it and if possible, where you might re-release it when you're finished, so it can continue its journey. You don’t have to read it if you don’t fancy it, but you never know, you might be surprised and enjoy it! You can even remain anonymous, but if you choose to join up I hope you will consider using me, house-elfdobby, as the bookcrosser who referred you.

My original JE for this book read like this:

This one had been on my wish list for ages so when I saw it in a charity shop, I quickly snapped it up. It's a fantastic story. Keep tissues handy for you will surely shed a few tears in the reading of this book.

Sorry for the delay Winterson, hope you're sitting in the garden putting your feet up!

I always find that house elves give the best gifts! Thanks for this one, am very much looking forward to reading it. Am definitely making the most of my last days of peace in the sun and this is next on the pile. Had a few twinges lately though so it may take a while to get to it. Gulp!
Thanks again :)
