I got this book from the Citizens for the Charles County Public Library, Inc. (C4CCPL) April Used-Book Bazaar. On the last day of the sale, Saturday 25 April, 2009 they had a sale where you could take home all of the books that you could pack into a paper bag for $1 per bag.

I managed to bring home 11 bags and one of those bags included this book. I have many books to release and some to add to my mountain of books "To Be Read". I hope this book finds a good home when it is time for me to release it.

I read a different copy of this book in November 2005 and here are the comments I had at that time:

This book took a lot longer to read to than I thought that it would. Even though each individual sotry is short and doesn't take very long, I found that I often had to take a break from this book and let some of the stories sort of sink in. There is a lot of love and inspiration in the stores as the cover promises but I also found a lot of pain in the stories as well. It was hard for me to read about some of the sadness and grief in many of the stories.

I hope that future readers will get something out of this book as I have.

I knew that I would be in Oklahoma for most of November so I stocked the van with plenty of books that would qualify for challenges to release while I was on my trip. This is one of the books that qualifies for one or more challenges that I did in fact get to release during the month of November in Oklahoma. Because of limited internet access while in Oklahoma I am just now getting the chance to make these journal entries and release notes.
