This one went off with my great-aunt for a bit, and now that she has finished it & returned it - I can say...

I loved this book. It managed to draw me in, and I believe I had tears in my eyes before I hit page 100. I love the work of Luanne Rice, and this was no exception. There were times in this one when I found myself hating Martin, but he always seemed to redeem himself in my eyes. This book will be traveling on to NeedSun, once she sends her address in my direction. She sent me The Mulberry Tree a bit ago, and asked that I send any book that I enjoyed in the genre of romance back in her direction – this one fits the bill!!
