I haven't read this copy, but I have read the book, years ago. A classic. A short read but a great story. I'm sure almost everyone has some idea, more or less vague, of the plot of this novel. It is a love story, but a deeply tragic one. Gatsby - whoever he is :-) - loves the beautiful Daisy, and recreates himself in the persona he believes he must take on in order to win her. A story about the futility of deception.
This book is #699 on the list of 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.
I bought this book at a flea market at Stenbråten elementary school in Oslo on Sunday, April 19th, 2009.
