This reads more like a scholarly work than a biography. Not the easiest book I've read and there are some lengthly descriptions of detailed research which, although necessary, make tedious reading, but the overal insight on Elizabethan life and customs is really very interesting. I hope other Bookcrossers will find it as instructive and rewarding as I did.
