I retrieved this tome from the local second-hand shop which I visited with a group of students. I tried to explain to them why i was so happy with this one. "My favourite writer. He is wild, anarchistic, with an intense love of life. And of language."
Upon concluding this novel, I could add to that, that he is probably the only fiction writer, apart from Barbara Kingsolver, whose ideas and worldview as as expressed in his books, are completely parralel with mine.
