This was an interesting mix of historical fiction and contemporary murder mystery. I enjoyed how the author entwined AnnEliza Young's account of polygamy in the early years of the Church of Later Day Saints pioneering the Utah desert and that of a boy cast out of the Firsts a splinter of the LDS church.
