The Hobbit
2 journalers for this copy...
This is one of those discarded books. I hope it has a good journey and finds many new readers.
Released 14 yrs ago (9/19/2009 UTC) at Always Sunday cafe, High St (Royal Mile) in Edinburgh, Scotland United Kingdom
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left on the OBCZ shelf at Always Sunday.
If you are new to bookcrossing - welcome and congratulations for finding a book! Please leave a journal entry to let me and any other readers know where it has gone and what you thought of it.
I'm a big Tolkien fan and in fact I already have a copy of The Hobbit. However, all being well I'll be off to London in a few days. I hear there's a new specialist sf and fantasy OBCZ so I'll leave both books there... if I can resist keeping this copy: it's nicer than my own.
It's been a few years since I've read this but next time I do I'll edit this JE to add my thoughts while it's fresh in my mind.
Released 14 yrs ago (11/22/2009 UTC) at The Waiting Rooms Cafe, Palmers Green in Enfield, Greater London United Kingdom
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
This book went:
from Heaton to Newcastle Central station on the no. 1 bus
from Newcastle to King's Cross by train
from KC to Liverpool Street by tube
from L St to Billericay by train where it rested before returning to London.
It toured central London, visited the OBCZ in The Old Shades, had a poke around in the British Museum and then went to Cockfosters where it rested again.
Then it went by car to Palmer's Green station and as it was going in through the door a voice said "Are you bringing me books?" Indeed I was, so I handed it to a fellow BookCrosser along with TotR.
