I've been eying this one for a while now, and finally just couldn't resist tonight when I saw it in the book section at Wal Mart. It's about time we start seeing some horror books about reality shows, they've certainly taken over pop culture.

This was a load of fun! A reality tv show, Castaways (a Survivor clone) is being filmed on a remote tropical island. But the contestants and crew are not alone. There is a race of subhuman beings living on the island, and they are not happy about the intruders. Full of action, gore, and suspense, as well as a great group of characters. This is the second book of Keene's I have read, and I am definitely a fan. He's awesome! His mythos are great, and so far in the two I've read, there are ties. And, as if it's not great enough, this whole story and the beasties in it were inspired by Laymon's Beast House series!
