I recently received this in a box of books from a family member, but its not something that I would normally read. If you come across it, I do hope that its something that you'll enjoy.

I look forward to reading your thoughts on this book and finding out where you got it from.

Also, you don't need to register to participate, but I do hope you take the time to check the site out.

Thanks!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

I am shipping this to Bolling AFB in D.C. as apart of a surprise RABCK.

Journal Entry 3 by crrcookie from Tecumseh, Oklahoma USA on Wednesday, April 1, 2009
Today the doorbell rang and I looked outside to see the mailman leaving at package on my doorstep here on Bolling AFB in Washington, D.C. Hmmmmm .... I wonder what it could be? I'm not expecting anything. I ran downstairs to get it and there was a box labeled media mail and "RABCK". Wow! I don't even remember giving my address. So I came right upstairs and opened the box to see who it could be from. I found a note that says:

Congrats! You've been selected to receive a surprise RABCK from me based on your book tastes. Not all of them are in great shape, but still they are very readable.
Enjoy!

I looked through the box right away and found this book. It's really hard to judge my reading tastes based on my bookshelf since I have so many that I get for free or pick up for challenges or just to wild release. I will give this book a try (if it doesn't get buried by an avalanche of Mt. TBR) and if all else fails I will send it along its way somewhere as a wild release.

I want to say thank you to Meekachu07 for sending me this book. The surprise really brightened my day!

Every once in a while I have to clean off my shelves and it is time now for this book to be moving on. Books have to move along even though I haven't had the time to read them for a variety of reasons. Usually it is a change of interest, but there are other reasons like it collecting dust because it has been here for too long!

I was the first to arrive at today's BCinDC meetup in at Potbelly Sandwich Works in Crystal City (Arlington), VA. Once there I noticed a pile of BookCrossing-registered books on the shelves there, so I went ahead and grabbed them and added them to the growing pile on our table. At the end of the meetup, I picked up a bunch of mass market paperbacks for wild release. This was one of them; I hope to continue its journey soon.

Released 12 yrs ago (9/1/2011 UTC) at Love's Travel Stop/Arby's in Fair Play, South Carolina USA

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left by the door to the Arby's.

I was surprised to learn that Fair Play was an actual city name. One of my idiot friends immediately pointed out that there's an Intercourse, Pennsylvania, but (1) everybody already knows about that, and (2) "intercourse" did not originally imply sexual intercourse. Fair Play, well, there really isn't another interpretation for that. I didn't think it was ridiculous, just unusual and interesting.
