Some great descriptions of food in this book which make you hungry! But not really the best plot, it carries along nicely and is an easy read but rather predictable and not especially original

Not really my kind of book, I wanted to read it as it had been a previous choice for my Online book group.
I've read up to p.176 and cannot continue. I do most of my reading on the bus to & from work, so I was reading it during the week, but now that it's the weekend & I haven't touched it for a couple of days and I realise I have no interest in continuing with the story next week.
Kindof a love triangle storyline, I presume it all works out in the end happily. I found Laura annoying in a all-American way; blonde hair, slim honey-brown calves and a taut stomach...
