love Sookie & all the crazy situations she gets into...in this one we find out that her brother does indeed change into a werepanther after being bitten. While worrying about Jason's changes as someone in their small community doesn't like those of the two natured sort and is trying to kill them. Sookie's brother is a suspect, but she thinks there is more to the attacks. I feel like the further we get into this series the better we get to know the supporting cast of characters. I like the people that Sookie encounters and the bits we learn about them.

"Second hand books are wild books, homeless books; they have come together in vast flocks of variegated feather, and have a charm which the domesticated volumes of the library lack." --Virginia Woolf

"A book is a mysterious object, I said, and once it floats out into the world, anything can happen. All kinds of mischief can be caused, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it. For better or worse, it's completely out of your control."
Paul Auster
