New Moon
8 journalers for this copy...
"Shoot," I muttered when the paper sliced my finger; I pulled it out to examine the damage. A single drop of blood oozed from the tiny cut. It all happened very quickly then. Edward threw himself at me, flinging me back across the table... I tumbled down to the floor by the piano, with my arms thrown out instinctively to catch my fall, into the jagged shards of glass. I felt the searing, stinging pain that ran from my wrist to the crease inside my elbow. Dazed and disoriented, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm-into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires. Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

Moving on to next participant of the bookring! Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
The book arrived today - thank you so much, Chickxsy!
I loved Twilight, even though I wasn't sure I would, so now I'm really looking forward to reading this! It will join me on vacation, and is actually put in a queue behind one and a half other books, but according to how fast I read Twilight, I think I can manage within a month..:D
I didn't manage in a month at all! The book was left behind when I went on vacation..
But now I finally got to dive into it, and finished it in less than three days. The book is just as easy read and exciting as the first one. Although it's not all my kind of stories, I love Meyer's style of writing.
The book will be on it's way to Vilda as soon as I receive her adress!
The book arrived safely today! Thanks alot!

Ah... *sigh*. What a relief that there still are two more to go. My heart is aching for Bella and Edward. I have allways had a soft spot for childrens/teens novels and also for fantasy. So of course these books are perfect for me!
Now, I will let go of this one, it travels to the next in line. Happy reading!
Just got home from work and found this waiting for me - thankyou Vilda!
This will be next to read after my current book - I'm looking forward to it, as I really enjoyed the last one.
Very enjoyable and really easy to read - I bombed through the second half of this in one day, which these days for me is unheard of! Somewhat predictable but with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing and despite the extraordinariness of most of the characters, the feelings they experience are wholly believable. Can't wait to read the next one....
Have PM'd for the address of the next reader, so hopefully should be in the post again by the end of the week.

Put in the post to earthcaroleanne this afternoon.
Be interested to see how long it takes, with Royal Mail as it is at the moment!
Hope you enjoy it.
Received at the weekend - I'll add it to my bundle. It's so much bigger than Twilight! but I'm looking forward to it.
I was really looking forward to this and I must say I wasn't disappointed. I loved the writing style and I couldn't put it down. I really did keep me gripped and I was disappointed when I finished it.
It's all wrapped up ready to go but I'll wait until after this postal strike. I'll post it straight away in the hope that it gets there before the next one.

Yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, it has arrived. :) Eclipse arrived yesterday so i'm going to be eating, breathing and sleeping the Twilight Saga for the next few weeks. Will get started on this book today. I'm glad it arrived before the film comes out on 20th Nov. I'll have it read before the film comes out. Thanks for letting me take part.
Just couldn't stop reading it. I didn't enjoy this one as much as Twilight; Bella was too gloomy in the first half and not enough of the Cullens. At least we got to know Jacob and his friends better. I found the second half to be more lighthearted, on screen I could imagine it being more serious and something you wouldn't laugh at but on paper I found it entertaining. Only 15 days till the film comes out, I'm sure we'll get more of the Cullens on screen, I hope.
If only I could read all the other books in the house this quickly. I'm so glad Eclipse is already here.

This book arrived today, together with Eclipse. Thank you very much Ythan for posting them both to me. I will start reading it today!
I finished reading this book today. The first part was very depressing and gloomy. I at first thought that Bella's grief was overdone and not completely neccessary but I think the author wanted to emphasise how totally bereft Bella was and as I read the rest of the book, I accepted it as part of the process she must endure in her decision to become a vampire. I enjoyed the story of Jacob and his werewolf friends. I am looking forward to watching the movie during the holidays. Although Eclipse is already with me, I will take a break before reading it - my daughter is reading it now.
