Picked up at the Book Thing in Baltimore, MD.

I'm a little biased since I went to Washington Irving Middle School, but I really love Irving's stories. They're a bit frightening but they make you think; they're like lovely, literary versions of The Twilight Zone :-)

I enjoyed this little collection of stories; unfortunately, it looks as though I'll be the last person to enjoy them. A little over halfway through the book, the cover became completely detached and all the pages came out in chunks. It is quite an old paperback. I usually do my best to repair books (I work at a library), but this one really isn't salvageable. I plan on retiring this to our family recycling bin. Who knows what new life it may take on?
