This is a beautiful story about a little girl who needs a heart transplant, and how the town folks rally around her with love and support.
I found this book on a bookshelf in the resort we are staying in, on Cat Island in the Bahamas, and will try to release it someplace interesting either here or in Nassau. Whoever finds it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Thanks,
Alice

This book arrived in my mailbox this morning. Thank you so much AwesomeAlice for bringing it back from the Bahamas for me. I am sure that I will enjoy it as it's the type of story that I find fascinating.
Thank you also for the little colored stones that you included in the package. Are they from the Bahamas or a local stone from New Brunswick?

What can I say about this very emotional book? I loved it, I wanted it to go on for another two hundred pages, I wanted it to end so that these people who were almost real to me, could come to a conclusion, one way or another. I wanted a happy ending, even though I know that a happy ending isn't always possible.
Charles Martin could almost be a heart surgeon himself as he wrote so believably about his subject. I don't want to give the ending away by saying more, so I will just say Thank you AwesomeAlice for sending me this lovely book.

Another book from my sister Kayjay33.
This book ranks very high in the books I've read this year. Thanks so much kayjay (sis) for bringing it to me, and for reminding me that I had it.
The twist at the end caught me by surprise. I will try to find somewhere interesting to release it, however if anyone wants it, I can send it on.

The book had a little trip to Manitoba where Oldgreymare enjoyed it. She also let a couple of others read it. Our brother thought it was one of the best books he has read for awhile. I decided I didn't want to give it up so asked her to bring it back.
Thanks Alice for sending it to me in the first place.

I got this book from my sister and will return it to her. Having recently moved to Langley from Prince George, all I will have to do is walk up one flight of stairs to give it back to her.
This was a marvellous book. I plumbs the depths of grief and explores the heights of hope within the human heart and soul. Beautifully descriptive. A very moving story, exploring not only the life of the heroine, Annie, but also of her mother, of her friend and of his blind brother-in-law.

I got the book back from my sister and it is going into my permanent collection. She liked it as much as I thought she would.
