The Time Ships
1 journaler for this copy...
If you haven't read Wells "The Time Machine" (ever, or recently enough to remember it) you probably want to do so before reading this homage.
Epic, cool premise/gimmick, well written, worth reading... but ultimately not as satisfying to me as it could've been. I just didn't find myself pondering or puzzling after I was done - that is, when I closed the last page I was immediately ready for a different book because this wasn't as evocative or provocative as the best literature and sf can be. But that's me - what do you think?
