One of my favourite books. I have read this many times, possibly even this copy which is likely over 25 years old.
BUT I joined BC to get rid of books (so far unsuccessfully), so out it goes.
It is suitable for the BC The Reader challenge as 1) about WW2 and 2) I think Hanna and Michael were a sort of Catch 22 situation in deciding whether to bring up Hanna's illiteracy
