Ordered this from Amazon.com after reading my first Maisie Dobbs novel. Although interesting and maybe even charming at first, the series doesn't improve (for me at least) with additional readings. I prefer a more scientific, logical approach to solving mysteries and crimes, without invoking the mythical, esoteric powers. Positively my last Maisie Dobbs novel (not sure if there are more than the three I've read.)
