I first read this book as part of the "book club" sponsored by the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. I read it a few years ago and can't really remember the details, but do remember enjoying reading this book. Hope you enjoy it also!

Picked up at a Bangkok Bookcrossers meeting earlier this year.
Beth Gutcheon has been recommended to me before, but this is the first of her novels I have read. It was very enjoyable -- a well-written, thoughtful and positive story about women and friendship. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Gutcheon's work!

a great book to travel with as an escape as it does not take much emotional involvement. I would classify it towards Chick-Lit, but my husband read it on a trip when he forgot his own book and We both were surprised he liked it enough to finish it.
