Nursery Crimes

Going to read this on the plane today - will leave it at our Moncton office Monday or Tuesday of this week.
Part of the Mommy-Track mysteries. I really enjoyed this mystery. Juliet was a public defender until her bundle of joy, Ruby, was born and now she is 8 1/2 months pregnant and fraught with worry over which preschool to put Ruby into, how to get Ruby out of a crib before her new baby is born....and missing her work life but desperately knows she wants to stay home to raise her children....she gets caught up in the mystery of a preschool director's death and finds out more than she wants to know about the woman's life including cyber-sex, money and teenage emotions; all the while agonizing on what to wear over her increasing stomach.
Fairly easy read with some good action moments -not quite Stephanie Plum but she might be when the babies are over :)

I'm sorry that it took me so long to discover this little gem! It kicked around at work for a while so i must have missed it; and read it last night, cover-to-cover. It was so eunexpectedly entertaining and yes, even a little touching, that I can't wait to read this author's next book(s)...Thanks again to cest moi for introducing me to yet another great author!
