My partner and I ordered the box set of the first seven Sookie books for Christmas. We loved the first season of HBO's True Blood and wanted to give the books a try. I read the first book and loved it... can't wait to get to the others!
If my partner likes these, they'll undoubtedly become part of our PC. (he loves to re-read, I don't have time for that lol)

Just finished listening to this on audio, so now will set the paper copy free.
I have to say that I find myself enjoying the series more and more with each book. The first two books were really mushy, really bodice-ripper stuff, but the stories have progressed from that and are getting more and more fun. Sookie travels to NOLA to sift through her inheritance from her departed cousin, and finds herself in the middle of vamp royalty drama, Werewolf vengeance attacks, and a steamy new romance with a were-tiger!
