Oh my god! I just loved this book and I seriously could not put it down! I'm not sure why as it is essentially a teenage vampire romance which so isn't my thing but there was a lot more to it than that. I really felt I was there with the main characters falling in love and the vampires weren't your typical run of the mill kind. I liked the differences to them which funnily enough made then seem more human, more real. I stayed up till gone midnight to finish this ( which is no mean feat as I have a small baby!) and had I had the second book I'm sure I would have continued! I really recommend this!!!

I have just started reading this and the first hundred pages flew past!
13/02/09 - Have finished reading this while on holiday. A teenage vampire romance...? I should hate it. But actually I couldn't put it down. It is well written, undeniably intense and totally engaging.
