I've made my selections: taking out Tropcal Rooibos, Guayaki, Tahitian Vanilla Hazelnut, Chamomile, Vanilla Hazelnut, Cocoa Spice, Oolong. Replacing with..... 2 Pumpkin Spice, 1 Cinnamon Stick, 4 Sweet Dreams Herbal, 3 Eggnogg'n, 4 Southern Comfort Cherry Crème.

Wow - I was kind of astounded at how big this box is and how much tea there is in it! Have picked out some new & interesting flavors (to me) and put in about twice as many to replace. Thank you Llednyl, sunfi, oi-reader & WingedMan for so many awesome choices. This has been great fun. Now I will find something to write in the journal and maybe add some drawings/embellishments (tea-related of course). :=D
So this will be on its way to Bibliocrates in a few days hopefully - will post again when it's mailed.

I found this box of tea waiting for me on my front porch yesterday evening. My mail is usually left on my back porch, so I'm not sure exactly when the box arrived. Anyway, thanks for posting it to me dancing-dog!

WHOA this is a billion times more amazing than I thought it would be!!! Definitely more teas than I thought (and I think it is better to have more options)! thanks so much for starting this box at my suggestion, Llednyl! I'm relatively a new tea drinker so most of these I have not tried yet. If things go as planned, it should be in the mail sometime Tuesday-Thursday.

WoW!! The tea box arrived safely on Monday and I've just gotten the chance to journal. My roomie, Katamat, jumped into the box before I could get my own hands on it. Now, my son, the tealover, is rummaging through and I'm hoping to sit down quietly with a cup this weekend and take my time making a few selections for myself. Thanks for allowing me to participate. I cannot believe ALL the choices!

Wow, what an amazing collection of tea! I've been staying at Cafekat's place and have had the pleasure of drinking a few cups of tea from this box - got some nice ones, and one really interesting one! I'll write in the book before leaving tomorrow for New York :D
I hope that you don't mind that I still have the tea box in my possession. I have shared it with a couple other bookcossers just 'cause they happen to be sharing my space right now. I plan to go tea shopping to replace all the little treasures we have taken from this delicious little box.

So very sorry for the delay, but many people have enjoyed this tea box. While in my possession, several bookcrossers including, DiveAC, Discoverylover, katamat, CreativeMGE, and a few nonbookcrossers including my 15 year old son, have sampled and added a selection of new teas to the box. What a great idea and fun way to taste and enjoy tea that we may not have purchased on our own.
This treasure box of tea is now on its way to KarmelK.

The Tea has arrived! WOW! Is all I can say. My youngest daughter has been picking out the ones she wants to try so now I'm next. I have a night to myself, so I will enjoy a little R&R and peruse the selection. I will send the box on its way ASAP although it may not go out until after Turkey Day.

What an adventure in tea! My daughter and I picked out a bunch and I replaced it with a nice variety. Most of my personal stash of tea is loose leaf. I did, however, repackage the teas into individual tea bags, wrapped and labeled them. So whoever picks those out can just brew them like any other "tea bag" tea. I can usually get a couple cups of tea from one of those teabags. I also included a couple varieties that are very good for "ice tea". They are Blueberry Red Iced; Iced Antartica; and Lemon Myrtle.
I look forward to sipping the ones I picked out and I hope you can enjoy the ones I put in. Thanks for such a simple pleasure!

I did, indeed, receive this on Wednesday. (Crazy week, no nights at home.) I finally got time to open it tonight and my, what an incredible smell! Such an amazing assortment of teas. I will sort through and make my own contributions and try to get it on it's way next week.

This amazing box chock full of teas was awaiting my arrival home from a hard day at work. What a wonderful surprise after a such a crazy-busy day...I will start by brewing up a chamomile-herb blend to relax while I peruse all the other goodies within!
I'm attending the Garden Expo this weekend, and they always have some good local sources for tea there. I'll stock a selection in the tea box and hope to send it on its way next week. Have enjoyed sipping and sampling thus far!

Profound apologies all. I received the Tea Box and Journal and distinctly recall making a journal entry when it arrived. I must say the timing was great. I was in the midst of writing the initial draft of a major grant application ($54K) a process that was well fueled by all the delicious teas. On the day I sent off the initial draft I packed up the tea box and got it ready to ship. I set it out of the way so it wouldn't get lost or damaged intending to look up the next recipient and PM them. Of course, in the midst of trying to get caught up on everything I'd neglected during the grant writing episode I completely spaced finding the next recipient of the tea box. In fact, I didn't remember until Llendyl's gentle reminder. Unfortunately, by that point I was in the midst of approving final edits for the grant app and didn't have a lot of time. I did try to look up the next recipient but the journal wasn't showing up in my reserved which is what I thought I'd marked it as. Next time I had a moment I looked in TBR but it wasn't there either. Finally I tried All Books and it still wasn't on my shelf. That's when I realized I'd have to undo my careful packing of the box and fish out the journal which had to wait until today (Grant Application is finally in and I'm actually home for more than a whirlwind visit. Now that I see my previous journal entry failed to post I understand why I couldn't find it on my bookshelf. Most sincere apologies to you all. I've been a bad, bad, bookcrosser.
I've had a lot of fun with the tea box though. The children were having a ton of fun selecting teas for me to try while I was in the midst of writing. I started out trying to keep a record of what I tried but that didn't last very long. I took the box with me to a luncheon with my sister for our annual birthday get together and while the younger three played (her two my one) the older three (her two my one) had a marvelous time exploring the box and deciding what to try. They actually dumped the whole box out on the dining room table. We all had so much fun that my sister felt obliged to add some Orange Blossom white tea from her stash to the box. The children have also enjoyed discovering how effective herbal teas are for some ailments, tummy aches, head aches, tiredness, etc. It's been a delight to be included and we've had a lot of fun. And most of all I promise to get this in the mail just as soon as is humanly possible. And I don't think I'll seal the box until I'm sure this journal entry has posted.

I have tried several different times to contact collegelady, both through pm's and through the email address she gave on her shelf page. She hasn't posted or journaled anything in quite some time. Will contact the next person in line.

To my surprise, this arrived yesterday! I wasn't aware that it was traveling back to me yet. The box came yesterday in the blizzard! What a wonderful selection of tiny, little bits of leaves, roots, and sticks! The smell is wonderful, isn't it. And if you take a sniff from different corners you get different scents. Amazing how they blend together to form something totally different and wonderful. Just like Bookcrossers! How different we are and how wonderful is our collaboration.
Thank you Llednyl for starting this again. I feel priveledge to be one of the relative few that gets to enjoy and contribute to this experience. Blessings to all, KK

I just got back from a mini vacation in the northern reaches of Wisconsin and found this box of tea in my hallway. What a wonderful thing to peruse as my frozen toes and nose thaw out. Looking forward to choosing a few packets and warming up my tummy with a hot cup o' tea. ;-)
Tea Box is now on its way to BigKat in Washington. This is the second time I've participated in the Tea Box and again I had a great time going through the treasure. My youngest daughter and my neighbor helped pick and choose teas while we sat at the table trying some new teas I had just picked up from the Fava Tea Co. My neighbor threw in several packets of Numi tea while I threw in an assortment of teas I bought at Fava. Again, I packaged up my new assortment of loose leaf teas (Blood Orange, Cho-conut, Spicy Pear and Spicy Ginger)and then added some sachets of Cinnamon Spice tea. Hope you all enjoy the wonderful flavors that have filled this box. :-)
Received the tea box yesterday and it couldn't have come at a better time. Work is very stressful right now and relaxing with a cup of tea sound heavenly. My daughter and I will take some time this weekend to make our selections and get the box back on the road by next Friday.

Very sorry for keeping this longer than intended. It didn't take long for me to make the selection, but somehow just couldn't get around to bagging the loose leaves, with out of town trips and car troubles and what not.
Anyway, I finally get everything done, and will mail this out tomorrow.

It arrived about a week or so ago and am sorry not to je it but have had major puter problems here. I must say it's a nice selection of tea and will be a hard choice. Hope to get her back in the mail the beginning of September.

The tea box made it here! I love this thing.. I've been waiting to get it since I heard it was on a second round. I bought a new batch of a bunch of new teas specifically to share with this box and all of you, so I will have fun making my selections!

This had so many great teas in it! I loved taste testing and adding some teas I hope everyone likes. I loved the idea of including a tea infuser for those that didn't have one, to use while they have the box, though I already had the exact same infuser.
I have a question though. I can't figure out the brand name of one of the teas. The teas are loose leaf but wrapped in foil and contain enough tea for a few steeps. One is called Ti Kwan Yin oolong and one is a green tea. To whomever added them to the box, can you PM me the brand name if you know it? I really loved the oolong and want to know what it is! thanks
Tried contacting 'allthesepieces' and never got an answer but their profile says they didn't want to be active with BC as much anyway. So I sent this out to 'moochew12' today with delivery confirmation. Hopefully Llednyl will switch them so moochew12 can try again with allthesepieces.

I think this arrived a little over a week ago. Its been sitting safely in the front office of my apartment complex. What wonderful teas to chose from. I'll try to have the box on its way back home within the next week. Thanks so much for including me on this one.
Sorry it took me so long to mail this box, its finally on its way. The DC # is 0310 2010 0000 5609 4461, it should be in Ohio on Monday. I would love to participate in a third round if you decide to do that, I promise to move the box along quicker the next time.
This came just before Christmas, but I haven't gotten around to journalling 'til now! Thanks so much to everyone for making the second round a success! I finally have some time tonight to dig into the box and see what everyone put in.
