This book was chosen because it is on the 2009 Reading Olympics list for Bucks County, and Morrisville's Gifted 6-12 students are required to read one Reading Olympics book per month this school year. Our goal is to get the books on the list, journal about them as we read them, have a release party at the end of the school year, and track the journey of our books next school year. We're excited to see where this book goes!

My name is Matt and I recommend the book Point Blank by Anthony Horowitz. It starts out when Alex Rider busts two drug dealers in front of a police station and damages it. He is let off the hook when MI6 comes to get him out of jail. There is a twist and Alan Blunt(the leader of MI6) wants Alex to investigate two deaths which seem connected. He ends up attending Point Blanc and finds out that Dr. Grief is replacing the children with clones and is trying to take control of the world. Alex escapes and later invades the school to rescue the other children. I thought it was an amazing story and I would like to read other books in the series.

Hi, this is Collin. I have read Point Blank by Anthiny Horowitz. Point Blank is about a boy named Alex Rider who is recruited by a secret service called MI6. Alex is recruited to spy on an academy in the French mountains. Alex discovers that the school is cloning the students. Alex calls in the service and he is rescued just before he gets cloned. I recommend this book to people who like adenture, mystery and suspense.

Hey this is Ella. I liked this book a lot! This book is about a 14 year old boy who works for M16. He has to go to a school for troubled boys who are raised by wealthy families. He has to go to this school to figure out if the school has to do something with the deaths of two of its students' fathers. But instead he finds out a lot more about the school too. Read this book to find out what he finds out.
