When 51 year old Judith lost Giorgio, she lost her life in Malta – joy, love, her income, her own space, and her circle of friends. She even lost the view from her sun-warmed balcony of the sparking blue waters of Silema Creek. And, she discovered, she’d lost most of her money too.
What she gained, back in England, was a bed in her sister’s spare room in chilly Northamptonshire where she’d been brought up, and a whole host of difficulties and family problems.
But a road that’s uphill all the way can bring exhilarating views. It can be fulfilling, too, and a lot easier when you find someone who wants to travel it with you…

Received from my NSSSFCS partner. I've been after this book for a while so thanks a lot Rainbow 3. I hope you enjoyed your parcel just as much as I'm enjoying mine.
Well I finally got round to reading this and thoroughly enjoyed it. No schmaltzy romance this. It was much more true to life and recorded well the problems experienced by the lead roles in all types of relationships. The ending was realistic too.

I enjoyed this very much. Both characters & situations seemed realistic & possible. The ending may have been a bit fanciful, but it was fairly satisfying.

The realisation that you can't read all the books you want to is a sad one.
As I clean my bookshelves, there are some books that need to keep moving - like this one.
So, releasing this one for further adventures and sorry that I didn't get around to read it.
