Adrian Mole: The Wilderness Years
4 journalers for this copy...
From the back cover:
'Sue Townsend's great creation Adrian Mole has reached maturity, in as much as he is 23 3/4 when his new memoirs get going at the start of 1991. The wit and desperation that made Ms Townsend's earlier volumes such masterpieces of bewilderment and underdog agony are still firing on all cylinders. It is to be hoped that there will be many more additions to the wonderful Mole cannon. Top notch stuff.'
Great stuff, and ready for release now.

Headed out in exchange for a Wish-List book (yahoo!) across to Finland and the welcoming arms of friendly BC'er Tintti!
I'll leave you and Aidy to get re-acquainted now...;O)

I got four books from fellow bookcrossers today (what a lucky day!), and this was one of them. Thanks lucycat!(By the way, the bookmark you sent was beautiful!)
Poor Aidy, his social skills haven't developed much since his teenage years. :)
I spent the Midsummer Day on my sunny balcony with ice tea and this book. I think I liked the earlier volumes better than this, but this wasn't bad at all either. A quick read, amusing, nice summer reading.
The book is now ready to continue its journey.
June 24: Sent to Pikapolonica (with several different stamps on the envelope for her stamp collector friend :) )

Arrived yesterday, kiitos! :))) The stamps are lovely, thanks for that as well.
Update (7th July): Adrian is a funny and as non-grown-up as ever, but he gets a 7, because occasionally he is beginning to repeat himself from the previous books. Still, it was very funny and now I have to find the other books of the series. :)
Offered in the PIF international game on 28th July. Accepted by Leanne345, to whom I will send it sometime this week, as soon as I get her address.
