Just received in the mail from nina-ivanovna...thanks! I'm looking forward to reading this!
This book was amazing...very dreamlike and un-nerving. I actually set it aside after about 100 pages, thinking, 'I can't stand the way this is written,' and started another book. I couldn't stop wondering about it though, and so picked it up again, and finished it today.
The whole book was written in what I would call a 'bad dream mode'. The main character was continually on the move, trying to accomplish his tasks, only to be constantly distracted and sent in a new direction. Once I relaxed about the story line, and accepted that it wasn't linear, I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
Thank you nina-ivanovna for sharing this book with me! :-)
