Two young confidence tricksters find their next target on a ship heading for the UK, but things are not as straight forward as they think. There are a few unexpected twists and' as with most Robert Goddard books, things don't turn out a you think.
If this is your first Goddard book I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, I'm hooked on him now and scour all the book and charity shops for any of his books.

The year 1s 1931 and an interesting look into the "goings on" of the upper classes at the time.
Another good Goddard read. He certainly tells a different tale each time, so there is something for everyone in at least one of his books.

Not my usual choice of book, but as it was given to me by another crosser I thought I would give it a go. Im glad I did as after the first chapter I didn't want to put it down. I hope the next finder will enjoy it as much as I did !
