A Darkness More Than Night

Went on a book-buying spree at the main Goodwill store in Toronto today, and picked this one up as a treat for hubby, who's recently started reading this author.
Wow! I really enjoyed Blood Work by the same author and the protagonist of that one returns along with his usual character, a detective Harry Bosch. This is was rather riveting, and anything that mentions great painters of our time as part of the action is okay with me. The characterization of Harry Bosch is also really really good and I'm looking forward to reading more novels involving him. If you've read Blood Work then this is a must read. If CDNJane hasn't already read this one, then I'll probably pass it on to her! Great stuff!
Another excellent piece of work by this author! Read this over the past weekend in between snoozes when I was laid up in bed with a bad cold.
Passing it on to CdnJane next. I know she'll go bonkers over it. Just have to make sure I get all of my cold cooties off of it first.

A great book... read Blood Work by Connelly and found this equally readable and enjoyable. I love his twists and turns in the story line. Its not over until the last page is turned!

I knew as soon as I saw the low BCID that there was a story behind this one. But c'mon now! This book hasn't been sitting around an OBCZ for THREE years!
It must have gone over Niagara Falls in a barrel or something. I'm looking at it in wonder and surprise, willing it to speak!
Picked this up at the convention. I'm a complete Michael Connelly nut, so will read this when I get a chance. Who knows where it will end up?
