Got the book, thank you Chania! I really liked the movie, so let's see how the book compares :)

I started reading the book and couldn't put it down. I found it very intriguing. I've seen the movie, but it was a while ago so I can't remember the details of it and can't really compare. I would love to see it again now. It's unbelievable how simply putting on a uniform and acting with confidence can get you pretty much anywhere! Just unbelievable.

I was a little worried the book might feel a little boring since I've already seen the movie, but it definitely wasn't. Very much worth the read! Like it says somewhere in the book: "Whatever the reader may think of his crimes, the reader will wind up chortling with and cheering along the criminal."

What a lovely surprise RABCK, right near my birthday as well :) Thanks so much for sending this, having seen the film, I have been wanted to read the book ever since. Is it actually signed by the author??? I cannot wait to read this!

Journal Entry 14 by Shemchin at Plano, Texas USA on Friday, June 1, 2012
Yes wal-89 it is really signed by the author! I heard him speak at a conference for my husband's workplace several years ago. He turned his life around and now tells people about how he did what he did to help prevent future thief's in the business. A very interesting man indeed!

This story has fascinated me ever since I saw the film. I am so glad that I got a chance to read the book and fill in the gaps. Although I have always liked the film, I definitely prefer the book and getting to know a bit more about the things that happened to Frank Abagnale. It was a very interesting story and I cannot imagine what it was like to meet him in real life. All in all, thanks very much for letting me read this fascinating true story. I will be passing this onto my sister to read next :)
