Home Before Midnight (Berkley Sensation)

I found this unregistered book in the wild. I don't really know any more about it that what is written on the jacket. Still, that makes it sound like an exciting read, especially if you like a little romance mixed in with your thrillers. Kantra, a multi-award winning (and USA TODAY bestselling) author, has provided a suspenseful yarn in which the main character is considered a suspect in the murder of her employer's wife. Kantra uses an effective contrivance to place the protagonist, gone for several years to New York City, back into her home town when the murder takes place. Looks like an absorbing read.

Definitely a page turner at times. I might recommend that the author never be allowed to write love scenes, they are hamfisted and full of nonsense. The mystery itself is a very good read.
