Thanks Mallary, Vespers is a great escapist read. A wealth of way-out characters, cops and villains, even men of the cloth; murder and mayhem and all kinds of twists and turns. What more could you ask of a ripping American police yarn?

I found the story quite gipping; insightful in that life in the 87th I am pleased to say is far from my own; I adored the odd funny line; all in all a good yarn; my skin crept at the macabre.
