Well, I can't say that I didn't like this book, cause I did, but it wasn't easy to get into. And for that I don't blame the story, cause the story was very interesting and refreshing, but the not very skillful writing. I never read anything else by this author, but in this book there very many things not done right. Certain things that should have been explored more were barely mentioned and some ridiculous unimportant things were chewed on and on. It's as if the author wanted to tell many different stories and things and ended up losing the focus. However, towards the end it got much better and more easy to read.

All in all, it was satisfying read and very interesting story (also, from what I could tell quite historically correct), although a bit slow.

Thank you for sharing :)
