A Complicated Kindness is a wonderful book written by a local Winnipeg author who I went to school with in Steinbach, a small Mennonite community in Manitoba, Canada. It is infused with the culture that I was raised in and thought it would be an appropriate book to pass around the world. I'm sure Miriam would agree. It was given to me as a gift from my wife, and I am passing it to my daughter who is traveling to the other side of the earth, Australia, with instructions to enjoy it on her travels and release it when she's done. I'm looking forward to seeing where this bit of Mennonite culture will end up!

I was given this book from my dad, the day before I left on my travels to Australia. I have completed it, two months into the trip, and am passing it on to my friend that i am traveling with. After he has finished reading it, we will release it.

I found the book at Cooper ark in Sydney on New Year's Day. It was a lovely surpise. I brought it home to Melbourne with me. I really enjoyed it, and am now planning to leave it somewhere in Melbourne for someone else to find.
