"Every book, every volume you see here, has a soul. The soul of the person who wrote it and of those who read it and lived and dreamed with it. Every time a book changes hands, every time someone runs his eyes down its pages, its spirit grows and strengthens ..."
Carlos Ruiz Zafon (The Shadow of the Wind)
Welcome to Book Crossing! It’s my pleasure to introduce you to a truly great organization. There are some wonderful people here from all over the world that are committed to the promotion of literacy. Their love of books and reading are shown every time they release a book to be enjoyed by others. Won’t you please take a moment and make a brief journal entry to let us know this book has made a new friend. You may keep this book or read & release it as I have done. You may remain anonymous; however, I hope you’ll consider joining Book Crossing. It’s fun, free and quite secure. Your privacy is of utmost concern to the site’s staff. If you do join, I would be pleased if you would list my screen-name GWF in the referred by space. It helps me keep track of my effectiveness in promoting this site.
Picked this up in the $1.00 bookcase @ Mori's Books for release/RABCK. Will want to read first, though.
Few entrepreneurs can claim to have actually changed the way we live, but Ray Kroc is one of them. His revolutions in food service automation, franchising, shared national training and advertising have earned him a place beside the men who founded not merely businesses but entire new industries.
But even more interesting than Ray Kroc the business legend is Ray Kroc the man. Not your typical self-made tycoon, Kroc was 52 when he met the McDonald brothers and opened his first franchise.
Now meet Ray Kroc, the man behind the business legend, in his own words. Irrepressible enthusiast, perceptive people-watcher, and born storyteller, he will fascinate and inspire you. You'll never forget Ray Kroc.
PinkRibbons has graciously agreed to release this book for me as a theme release at the original site of the first McDonald's where there is now a McDonald's museum.

Part of a collaboration for a theme release. Bill who is the originator of the release has mailed me the book in the hopes to release it at the original spot of the first Mcdonalds. (As I work in the same town) I will be looking through the book until I get it to the location, and look forward to the themes release. Thanks Bill for the great plan!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
During my lunch time I finally made it to the specific location for a themed release and requested by the donor of the book. I took a couple of pictures with my phone and bought a couple of post cards at the location and then left. Hopefully someone will log in the finding of this book or maybe it will end up in the museum.
