Totally intrigued by the title and description, I purchased this book for 59¢ at Goodwill even though I promised NOT ONE MORE BOOK IN THIS HOUSE until I've read my quota (68) of TBRs for the year. Sigh. At least it's not a BAD vice ...

Aug 7, 2022: Not humorous or quirky at all despite the fun title. Very introspective, and? The author's long, overly adjective-filled descriptions of the garden in an attempt to draw attention to the metaphor of the garden compared to Rose's life were just TOO long for me sometimes. Not a BAD book, just not what I was expecting.
Aug 8, 2022: Available for someone to share. Checked wish lists. Sent a PM to chicvolley99 to see if she'd still like it.
