The Jane Austen Book Club
3 journalers for this copy...
I love Jane Austen and book clubs, but I dropped this book like a bad habit. It reminded me of Amy Tan, but with all the interesting cultural stuff and most of the genuine reflection and suffering siphoned off. Men are the enemy, how on earth can women ever understand them, waah waah waaaaaaaaaah.
To be fair, I didn't finish this book, so maybe it turns out great. But I don't have time to find out.

TBR - picked this book up at tonight's bookcrossing meetup at Cafe Mozart
Not the worst book I ever read, but definitely not the best either. I thought the movie was a slow starter, but ended up enjoying it in the end. I gave the book the benefit of the doubt, but it never ended up being that great. I thought the movie actually developed the characters better and made me a bit more interested in them. The book was a bit depressing.
Passing this on to angela861 to read.

I got this book from ChiBoiler @ book club.
Took me a while to finish. Not great and drug at times. I liked the movie better.
