Meant to read this as I enjoyed The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time but never got around to it and now clearing my bookshelves out. Keep this book travelling after you've read it
Thanks to MissMarkey for sharing this with me. I'll keep it moving after I read it.
I actually read this last September when I first received it. Apparently I forgot to journal again-so sorry about that.
I was surprised at how different this book was from Haddon's "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time". George is so completely self absorbed and obsessed with his "spot of bother" that he is able to ignore all the chaos and problems around him. He's convinced that the spot of eczema is really cancer and that he's going to die.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I've held onto this too long, time for it to move on. I'm sending this to bookczuk to stock the shelves!
Received from etherea* to help restock our library/UBCZ shelves. Thank you so much!
Am tempted to read this, but am declining since we're having some renovation work done and will have to pack up all our possessions so that it can happen. I'll put the book out on the shelves, and maybe I'll have a chance later on to read it.
*Waves to MissMarkey, whom I have never met, but admire greatly.

Good book.
Thinning the shelves at the Bristol and will be releasing this to a local Little Free Library or OBCZ.
