Thanks, 4libros! The book is now safe here at my home with its (many!) Missouri brothers and when I read it I'll set it free again. Thanks, thanks, thanks :)
I had alredy read the sequel to this one ("The man who cast two shadows") and I liked it well enough to wish I would read the first one. Surprise, surprise, 4libros had sent it to me too!!!!!! :)
I have just finished it. I liked it even better than the other one. It's an itneresting detective story in which the main character, cold Kathleen Mallory, chases the murderer of her adoptive father, Louis Markowitz. She's a cop, just as he was, but with no expereince in the streets, of which he had plenty. He was pursuing a serial killer that eventually killed him too. Will she end up killed too?
(you know she won't because I've just told you there's at least nother book with her as main character, but well, it was just a rethoric question ;) )

Released on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Not known yet-will update when released in London, England United Kingdom.
I'll try to make it to tonight's meet-up and release it there; otherwise, I will probably leave it in the hostel's bookshelf ("The Generator" is the name, and it's got a web page for information on where it is).
Or not. Who knows? I'll let you know later.

Picked up at tonight's meetup - I couldn't resist to finally hold a book released by the famed 4libros in my hands :) AND it sounds a thrill AND Atenea-Nike is absolutely lovely, too!
It'll be some time before I get to read this, but it's in good hands- thanks again for bringing it along!

A pacy thriller with more than the usual share of good plotting and good characterisation. Will release at suitable occasion shortly - details once I've made up my mind.
I caught the book at the Student's Union bar at the University of Essex. Really enjoyed the book, in fact finished it all in one go.. was up til 4am! I figured maybe i'd leave it on a train or something.. I don't really know!!
Released on Saturday, May 01, 2004 at SU Bar, Essex University in Colchester, England United Kingdom.
I released this on Saturday, 1st of May, in the SU bar - and of course it was caught and registered before I had a chance to journal it, as I was away from home! Welcome to you, Boredflower, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I was up at my old university for the Alumni sports weekend, and had a great time - and the Rugby Old Girls won 26-17, too!
