I went to trade books at the Coffee Connection Cafe in Walla Walla. I left several there and picked up a couple of new ones, including this. I hope to read this before Sunday and send it on to Seattle with my aunt. I'll let you know how it is!

It's been quite some time since I read any John Saul books, but I wasn't disappointed with this one. He's not quite Stephen King, but the story was satisfyingly creepy and the plot didn't have any glaring holes or completely implausible characters--well, as long as you can believe in dead Romanians who suck the life out of kids! . . . but I digress and give too much away! Anyway, it was definitely a good read!

Journal Entry 5 by laurellou at Controlled release in Pasco, Washington USA on Saturday, April 12, 2003
Released on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at My mother's home in Pasco, Washington USA.

This is actually my grandmother's house and not my mother's, but my aunt named the release zone, so I figured rather than create a new one, I'd just use it. Also, I am technically not releasing it to the wild, but to my aunt so that she can take it over to Seattle for an actual release in the wild.

I got this book from my neice, Laurel in Pasco, while visiting my family there. I started reading it and have hardly been able to put it down. It is very creepy.
