CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Whew! This was my first experience of the new controlled release system hope the postage is less traumatic!
Book arrived today along with a pretty kittens card. Thanks so much. I'll do a post to see if anyone else wants to read it before it goes back to the UK.
Finished reading it in one day. I love books about book clubs, knitting clubs and women's groups and this book didn't disappoint. The women all so different come together in a knitting club. Their different ages, backgrounds and stories kept my interest and the introduction to each part of the story while wrote as a knitting lesson could also be a life lesson.I finished it feeling I was leaving friends.
I can see why you had so many requests for the book and the ray is a great idea. I posted it yesterday, so I'll wait a few days to get it moving again.
Thanks Millycat for this wonderful story.
Bookray ready to start.
BookRay Instructions:

It arrived safe and sound today. Looking forward to a great read!
It was so easy to get caught up in the lives of these women - I'm already missing my nightly "visit" with them all! A great book. Enjoy! Sent on to Rrrcaron.
I received this book in the mail yesterday. I have one in progress right now, but will start it soon.
Ruth
I loved this book. The ending kind of blew me away, and yes I cried! lol. The friendships that grew stronger throughout the read were touching. I love books like this. I'm so glad I had the chance to read this one. Sending on to the next reader!
Ruth
I received the book this weekend. I can't wait to get started. :-) Thanks for sharing!
I finished the book today. Hmmm... I really liked it but had to take a point off for the ending. You'll understand once you finish it! I love when you get to meet each character in the story. It flowed well and you never felt like the story was jumpy.
I can't wait to read the next installment. I've PM'd the next person on the list and will have the book in the mail soon.
PS - I did forget to mention that the book got a little wet during its travels to me. We have been getting tons of rain/sleet/snow! It is still in good shape... just a little wet at the bottom of the spine.

Off to the next reader... Happy Reading!! :-)
I got this book today! I just wanted to make the owner and other readers aware that it looks as if soda or coffee has been spilled on the bottom left hand corner of the book. I have one and a half books to read for Rings/Rays and then I will begin on this one!! Thanks for sharing:)
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was so neat to see how such different people formed a club, and became friends. Who were there for the good and the bad. I liked that Georgia and James ended up together again at the end, so Dakota's family was put back together. The end was so sad though. Dakota at first didn't have a dad, then he came back into her and Georgia's life, and then dakota lost her mom, and was left with her father. I have already sent this book to the next person in line at least a week ago!
Received the book today! Thank you for allowing me to participate in the bookring! I'm finishing another bookring today and plan to start this book tomorrow. I'm pm'ing the next person for their address.
p.s. as mentioned before, there is a coffee stain in the bottom left hand corner of the book throughout the spine. the book is still readable, and is in good condition otherwise.
This was a great book! I loved all of the characters, and the challenges and journey that they all took. I was totally shocked by the last ten pages--but I won't give anything away to those who have not read it yet. I'm not a knitter, but I did knit when I was a kid with my grandmother. Of course, this book makes you want to knit and create wonderful things. But you do not have to be a knitter to enjoy this book. It is a universally wonderful book about women in different situations in their lives--and how they all have at least one thing in common.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Thank you very much for including me in this bookring. I completely enjoyed this book--and I think it was a great idea to share this book as a bookring--because it is the type of book that many, many people will enjoy.
I'm mailing this book today to jaffacake in the UK. The two people in line before her asked to be skipped: lady-anglophile and kirkles.
Arrived on the other side of the Atlantic this morning from krl112 with a lovely note and beautiful bookmark - thank you!
After a slow start I really got into this book... very enjoyable :-)
PMing teuffi now...
The book arrived today, thank you!
A very warm and lovely story about different women in different situations in life. I like how everyone of them changes somehow or makes something out of their life. The ending was little sad, but not overwhelmingly so.
ANd yes, I got urge to knit, although I can only knit different scarves! The book continues to bookwormess.
Thanks polenka, the book arrived last week. I've been out of town so sorry for late journal. I actually didn't remember I had participated this bookray, so I was quite happy to receive a PM about it. :)
I have this small pile of books to read soon, so I can't read it right away. But I'll try to be quick!
Oh, I'm so sorry. The books still with me, I got caught up with typical autumn hurry and totally forgot this one. I haven't read it, but I do actually own a Finnish edition - so I'll send this off as soon as I get the address for elis-fromSweden.
I started reading it and liked the beginning a lot, so I'll definitely read my edition at some point. And yes, the book started a new burn for knitting inside me, my first cardigan is already half-done. :D
Thanks for your patience and I'm sorry for stalling it.

Thanks, Bookwormess, the book arrived in Amsterdam today, with some yummy chocolate! Kobie03, thank you for sharing. I look forward to reading this. I used to knit quite a lot in my teens. Who knows, I might pick up the needles again after reading about the knitting club. I have about 20 pages to finish in a bookring, so will start this soon.
Edit Feb.4: only a few more pages to go and I am really sorry to let these women and their loved ones go. I enjoyed the story about the different friendships and the changes they all went through. Amazing what forgiveness can do! The end was quite shocking (for me at least, I will not spoil anything by telling more).
One more thing: I just felt like knitting every time I was reading it. ;-))
Since I am the last one on the list, I will think about what to do with the book. I might offer it for a continuation of the ray.

I’m so very sorry for keeping this book on my shelves for such a long time... I really should have read it sooner, but I’m glad I finally did!
Loved the story, with all these different women and their stories. And I couldn’t agree more with dutchbooky: I felt like knitting the whole time I was reading this book (and it’s been ages since the last time I ever knitted....)
I was also shocked about some developments, which I really didn’t see coming. But still enoyed this book thoroughly.
I’ll try to find a good way to finally release it again! Thanks for letting me find it, all those years ago!
