This book is on the wish list of my not so secret santa partner from the bookcrossing yahoo site, so I thought I better read it quick!

I really enjoyed this book - almost as much as the Stephanie Plum books. The story and characters were fun, and it was good to see how Max and Jamie are getting along. I hope my NSS partner enjoyes it too!

I did expect this to be better, really! Ideally I would have loved something in the lines of the Stephanie Plum stories, but this book has nothing of the charme in terms of characters ... there are funny bits, but the fun with Grandma Mazur, Lula, Sally Sweet and Steph's family is miles away. Oh well, one can't have everything I guess. I think that I will give a miss to the rest of the series, though... I just cannot see me going through the rest, so better find a new home for them soon :)
