Interesting Australian novel about a English woman who comes to Australia wit her family. Doesnt cope with being a mother, wife or Australia in the 60s, and leaves her family behind.
The story looks at the affect of this on the children as adults and how they react to the reintroduction of the mother.
I found this particularly interesting because of my own family, and my won reactions were intersting to me. I found some of it unbeleiveable, but maybe I'm not good at forgiveness.
