Thank you for sharing this book with me, tabby-cat-owner. I picked this from the list of 1001-library books you offered because of "Widow for One Year" by John Irving, one of my favorite authors. In that book, Graham Greene is the favorite author of Ruth, one of the main characters. So I'm curious to see whether I like his writing too.
Having tried to read it several times now, I'm returning this to the 1001-library to make it available to other readers.
If you're a member of the library, just contact me and I'll send the book to you.
