This is a very unique book, and extremely well done. Susan Fromberg Schaeffer must be a keen observer of cats and human beings alike. She portrays the inner life of a feline with impeccable accuracy and leads her readers to contemplate the human condition in the process.

This one is on its way to dvg, who had it on her wishlist. As a cat owner and feline lover, I think she'll enjoy it! :)

I loved reading this book. I felt like Foudini was actually telling his story. Such a wonderful read. You can tell that the author loves cats as she writes with such care and understanding of them and their humans. I know many BCers who will enjoy this read. It will be traveling soon. A heart-warming, amusing and charming book about the life of Foudini M. Cat. Foudini's relationship with the dog is really special but my favorite part is when Freud's cat comes to Foudini in a dream.
It is a lovely book.
