We at Holiday Villages are paying monthly rent to “park” our homes. October 2000 MHC wrote in a letter to all residents here: “We are proud that Holiday Village continues to be one of the finest manufactured home communities in the area. We want to assure you of our ongoing commitment to provide quality facilities and well-maintained grounds. This shall serve as 60 day notice that effective January 1, 2001 your monthly site rent will increase $20.00 to $425.00. This increase takes into account various market factors, and will enable us to continue providing you with the quality lifestyle you have come to expect as resident of Holiday Village. Our community remains an exceptional value in the local housing market.” = go to http://yes2art.com/VoxPopuli/vp18holi.html

On March 28, 2003 our payments for rent is $496 !!! – however, we try to afford it and have fun anyway – or probably not ?
