Yoopi :) I received it at last... took almost 3 months to get here ! :O
Thanks Kurtis :)
Thanks Kurtis :)
this book has been lent to me by airyaa. a nice fantasy, more sword play and wars than wizard magic, but fun and you can definitely hate gavril!! it's kinda like mckinley's the hero and the crown. this one is the first of a trilogy and it's not three books about same characters but it's like one story divided into three books, so you'd definitely need the other 2 books to see what happens (hint, hint :)) and also the first book is good enough that you'd care to see how the hero turns up and what happens to the rest. thanks airyaa for the loan.

Thanks! I will start reading this as soon as I can.
7/9
Pretty fair start. It is not like Robin McKinley's books, but it was well-written. I liked it enough to read the other two, 'cause it will be interesting to see how the author ties all the threads together, but it did not turn out to be a great favorite. Will be sent out tomorrow. :)

Yey! This came in the mail yesterday and it's prefect timing! I'm going to get to it right away! Looks really good!
I need to start by appologizing profusely for taking so long to read this! I'm SORRY!
There is a reason why this took me so long to read. I had a very, very difficult time getting into the story. It didn't start picking up for me until Part 2. But once the ball got going, I found this a really good read and a great story. I can't wait to read the other books in the series to find out what happens to Dain!
