Purchased at the Friends For The Public Library clearance sale. I've heard such great things about this book, can't wait to dive in!

This was simply charming! A must read for any book lover! in 1949, Helene Hanff sent a letter from New York City to a book dealer in London with a list of antique books she was looking for, "for no more than $5". That sparked a 20 year friendship with the people of the firm and Miss Hanff. The letters were quite moving, and we got a good glimpse into the lives of these people, all centered around the purchase of books!
